Google ADT partnership could result in market disruption | #Verdafero #ADT #Google #Nest | Earlier this month, Google announced it was buying a 6.6% stake in ADT for $450 million.

The brands will also commit $150 million each for co-marketing, product development and employee training, according to Reuters and ADT. Blake Kozak, Principal Analyst, Smart Home and Security Technology at research company Omdia, suggests that this new partnership could be the initial step that disrupts the smart home and alarm monitoring markets.
